The new Lakki bed by Piero Lissoni recalls the style of the great Italian design masters of the Fifties and Sixties. The bed is essential and free of decorations, bringing an atmosphere or rigorous simplicity into the bedroom. The slim elongated structure is conceptually derived from a deformation of a peg chair. It consists of 4 wooden legs connected at the side by an ultra-thin band, which suspends the mattress 'bedsprings' in space.

The exceptional visual impact of seven models of seats, in various sizes, has made them unique in time. Up5 is the collection’s most famous, a female figure tied to a ball-shaped ottoman symbolizing the shackles that keep women subjugated’. Part of the Rossin 2004 collection Yuku, which in Japanese means “going forward”, is a narrow sofa created to develop linearly along varying curved paths, in a continuous and infinite progression explores new areas and view points of the environment. Its light silhouette with understated metal legs does not intrude the space but, rather, seems like a floating structure that identifies possible paths The design includes a metal double shelved unit that can be added as a cantilever to the end of the sofa. The modularity of Arne elements enables to obtain seats with different depths that can be arranged along the wall or in an open space configuration. The linear solution offers the alternative of two different armrests: one is curved and suspended, the second is higher and enveloping. The combination of end units with chaise longue elements easily create corner configurations. The curved versions adds true innovation to Arne. It is presented with an outline only hinted at by the end unit with high armrest and slightly bent element or with a spacious yet cosy seating of two elements with short or suspended armrest.

The armchair with fixed armrests is swivel (the armchair can be fixed through a knob). The sofas with armrests, available in three widths, allow two different back positions (high or low).
All of the units have a visible frame made of painted steel glossy or mat aluminium colour.
Steel internal frame, upholstery in differenciated density CFC-free polyurethane foam and polyester padding. Covers in removable fabric or leather. The seating system is completed with a cube/ottoman on castors, upholstered with a special glossy fabric in the colours black or white.
The armchair with no armrests has seat with end parts which can be tilted at two different positions, converting them into supports/armrests.
This armchair can be supplied with an aluminium colour pull-out top.
The sofas with no armrests, available in two widths, have the end-parts of the seat with the same characteristics as the armchair with no armrests.
The bench has a suitable seat for a chaise-longue configuration; one end part can be tilted at four different positions to be used as headrest, the other end part can be tilted in the middle and used as a support for the legs.
These movements of the seat feature also a sofa with no armrests having the same width.

Two beds that, for all their differences, reflect a common quest for sustainable design. The first, Eric, is more structured and organised, capable of being adapted in a wide variety of ways in order to meet diverse creative and functional requirements. Indeed Eric lends itself to being used with furniture of different widths and various accessories backing onto the bed. York, on the other hand, is a finished and defined bed, with its square, solid shape that gives a modern touch to a classic, well-established design. As in the case of Eric, York finds its complete expression when accompanied by bedside tables and a chest of drawers.
